California State Route 190:
I captured this full-length posed portrait of Mr. Neal Dance on California highway 190 (CA-190) outside Olancha, CA. The Trans-Sierra Highway—CA-190, is a 188-mile east/west State Highway that has a 43-mile unbuilt gap through the Sierra Nevada Range. It runs from Highway 99 at Tipton, in Tulare County, east to CA-127, located at Death Valley Junction. California is one of the few places in the U.S. that has warm beaches, snow-topped mountains, dense forests, and open deserts all within a few hour's drive. The spaces are incredible, and the scenery is breathtaking.
