Deep River Brewing Company:
Saturday afternoon at the Deep River Brewing Company in Clayton, North Carolina. Deep River is a 15bbl, two-vessel brewhouse explicitly designed for its location at 700 W. Main Street in downtown Clayton. The company has the distinction of being Johnston County’s first legal brewery. Deep River produced the first batch of legal beer on February 28, 2013; the brewery officially opened its doors on April 6 that year. Deep River uses locally grown raw materials for their brews whenever possible and has a great tap list of over twenty-four beers and ciders.
